About Delta ~ On Trial 8/2/15
Hi my name is Delta and I’m a shy and pretty 10 week old Ridgeback X puppy. \ I have big floppy ears and huge dark eyes. Everyone who meets me loves my gentle nature and my foster mummy says my face is irresistible!
I’m in foster care with my sister Sienna and I am her little shadow… I love to follow her everywhere and copy what she does. My foster mummy says I’m like a little sheep! When I go to my forever family I would love to have an older doggy playmate to play with so that I can follow him and play with him too!
I love my food very much - I’m not fussy at all. I’m happy to let my sister share my food though as I’m very good at sharing. My foster mummy says I’m very well behaved for such a young girl and I’m even picking up toilet training since I’ve been in foster care.
I love to be petted and cuddled – my foster family gives me lots of cuddles and I’m in heaven. I’m great with children and would love to have some children to grow up with. I have a gentle easy going nature and I’m happy to fall asleep anywhere. I currently sleep well through the night cuddled up with my sister Sienna in a doggy bed, but I’ll happily snuggle up on anyone’s lap for a nap too.
I am an inside puppy and so I need to be allowed inside when my family is home – I must sleep inside at night even when I’m older. I love to play outside when the weather is nice, I run around the yard and play with toys.
My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life. I will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training from my new family.
My sister Sienna is also available for adoption.
If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mum Cara on 0400 470 470 or email c3130922@uon.edu.au. \ I am in foster care near Wyong, NSW (Central Coast) and am not available for adoption interstate..
My adoption fee is $450 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro-chipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
