About Meow
Meow found herself as a wee kitten in a high kill pound. She was to be adopted however the person reneged and so Meow waited. A second person then said they would adopt her but they too never came back for Meow. From the side lines, a special person was following Meow via the RescueCat Project Facebook page and said 'Enough of people letting Meow down!!! I will foster her until she finds her special forever home"
Meow was taken into foster care under the AWL and has gone from strength to strength. She is a purely delightful miss. She is gentle, sweet and loving. She is also clever as her profile picture states.
Meow's foster Mum states: Meow is sparkling with joy. she loves your hugs and cuddles and then goes off to play. By the end of the day Meows asks for more cuddles and a lullaby before her bedtime. I can't resist this little one.
Meow would be ideal for a young family as she is a placid little cat. She also gets along with other cats. Meow would also suit a single person, in fact Meow would suit anyone looking for a super lovely, sweet, unreal cat!!!
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW. I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $51 once off fee. This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of love care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
