Edin (On Trial 14/2/15)~ Boxer X Shar Pei ~

Edin is a 7 month old male Boxer X Shar Pei who is ready to be adopted into the family of his dreams.

He is a very affectionate dog and absolutely loves cuddles. Edin is now in foster care with a 7 month Staffy X and an 11 week old Staffy X Boxer and is very friendly towards them. He is searching for his new family where he can give and receive lots of kisses and cuddles immediately.

He loves to sleep inside and is toilet trained. He is happy playing both inside and outside with his furry and human friends. Edin also loves his trips in the car. He loves to just jump in and is happy to lay on the back seat with his harness and seat belt on and go for a road trip. He is very quiet and will make a little sooking noise part way through the journey if he needs to do his business.

This gorgeous boy is very well behaved and gentle around children. He has been in my care with 2 and 4 year old boys and has learned to be very careful around them. He knows not to knock them over or jump on them. Both children can hand feed Edin treats and he will take them very slowly and gently and does not snap at them for the food.

Edin has been undergoing a lot of training to get him ready for his new family and is learning new commands quickly. He is an intelligent boy and is very willing and eager to learn. Edin is very responsive when you have liver treats and will listen and perform all basic moves for a treat. Edin is a very strong boy and will require more practice walking on a lead. However, given his intelligence and eagerness to please, with some more practice he will be walking step by step right beside you in no time without a leash.

Edin is still learning the ins and outs about the rules of fetch. He is such a funny boy and he thinks it’s much more fun when you throw the ball and then you chase it and then he will chase you. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Attending classes is a great way to bond with your new fur family member and socialise them in the big wide world.

Not fussy when it comes to food, Edin will eat almost anything put in front of him. He especially loves to lay on the grass munching on some bones.

As Edin has not been exposed to small animals we are not sure how he would behave with them. For this reason we recommend a slow introduction of Edin to your other furry family members.

Edin is a friendly little fellow looking for his furever home and he is waiting to meet you.
