About Miss Mumma Pig & Baby
Meet Miss Mumma Pig & Baby,
These 2 girls are mother and daughter and must be adopted together; they are both very friendly and have a great cuddly personality!
Please note these girls have had a hard life and are looking for an extra special home where they will be loved and spoilt with somebody that is willing to go above and beyond.
Please note: you are required to send photos of where you wish to house the girls and Please keep in mind that the shelter is looking for an extra special home for them somebody that is willing to go above and beyond what is needed so please understand that if your adoption form is not approved it may be because you are not the right home for these girls and you may be the ideal home for some of the other guinea pigs available.
Breed: Peruvian (long hair)
Please note: Miss Mumma Pig & Baby have very long hair and will need to be housed on absorbent bedding e.g. Wood shavings/fleece/paper kitty litter off the ground for example indoors or under the patio,
Long haired guinea pigs should not be fully housed outdoors on the grass as they are more prone to matting. They will also need their coat brushed/ trimmed and he should have a bath as needed to keep him looking gorgeous and to prevent Matts/soiling of the coat as well.
An outdoor cage for just some playtime on the lawn is fine but for their mainstay housing we're looking for the above for the girls.
Medical notes
Baby: Has been Diagnosed with a heart condition (Heart murmur) which she currently does not need medication for but she should have this checked with an experienced exotic vet every year and may require medication in the future.
