About Diesel (Trial with Dogs for Diggers 23/2/15)
Diesel 16 month old male Blue Cattle x. Diesel is an affectionate, friendly, easy-going boy, who mostly likes to relax and ‘chill out’. He has grown up with his sister, Kaseia, and they play a lot together and sometimes they make a lot of noise playing but have never hurt one another. Diesel is well socialised and is friendly with other dogs and children.
This lovable boy is house-trained, well- mannered and is a fast learner - a very clever boy who knows his basic commands such as, sit, bed and stay. A little more training will go a long way with him. Diesel gets along very well with his sister, Kaseia, and has never shown aggression at feeding time.
After a long road trip to his foster carers’ home, Diesel settled in quickly. Diesel is very low maintenance with a coat that can easily be cared for by just a bath and the occasional brushing. He is almost full grown but can stand to lose a little weight. Diesel would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home. Being a bit of an old softie, Diesel doesn’t mind the odd belly scratch.
Diesel’s adoption fee is $300. He is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, micro-chipped, and lifetime registered. He is not available adoption outside of NSW and ACT.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
