About Tank (Trial 8/5/15)~ Boxer x Mastiff mix puppy
Tank is an 11 week old Boxer x Mastiff mix. He is a devoted and cuddly boy who welcomes the opportunity to sit on your lap. He also likes to play with his brother Tank and his foster carer's other dogs of all ages and sizes. He is living with cats and he plays with them too!
Tank is quite a mix of breeds! His mother is a Staffy x Mastiff x Bull Arab and his father is a Boxer x Great Dane x Neopolitan Mastiff. In other words, he will grow up to be a big dog! He will need a good sized yard with good fences because he likes to chase a ball and romp around.
Tank will need to sleep inside whilst a puppy and have access to outside so he is able to go to the toilet. If he's to be outside when people aren't home he'll need a kennel which is undercover of a verandah.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training and socialisation.
He would love to have a person, couple or family that will include him daily activities and enjoy spending time with him.
Since he will grow to be a large, strong dog, a family with children under 6 may not be suitable as he could accidentally knock them over with playfulness. His birthday is 8/11/2014.
If you feel that you can give Tank a loving home, then please contact his foster carer Krystina via email krystina_ws@hotmail.com and she can give you more information about him. Tank is in care at Tingira Heights NSW 2292 in the Lake Macquarie area.
Tank's adoption fee is only $450 and includes his desexing, first two vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
