About Georgie is checking out her new home
Georgie is a lovely girl who has settled into life as a pet very well, Georgie is very affectionate, loves pats and cuddles she also likes human and other dog company, she gets on well with other dogs large and small.
Georgie is happy to laze around during the day but does love her walks, she has good manners on the lead, happy to walk by your side.
Georgie is also currently being tested with cats – so far so good.
Greyhounds are calm, gentle friendly dogs. They do not need long walks and are happy with a twenty minute walk once or twice a day.
They can sleep for up to 20 hours per day.
Greyhounds need to remain on lead at all times in public areas, and should only be allowed off-lead in fenced areas. They need to be muzzled in public until they have passed their Greenhounds assessment which gives them an exemption from muzzling.
They are very susceptible to weather, and will need shelter from the elements. During winter they will need a warm coat. They have little padding on their bones and will need a comfy bed all year around.
