About Trixie ~ Mini Foxy (On Trial 12/4/15)
Trixie is a 2 year old, female, mini fox terrier. Beautiful nature. Loves being around people. Will snuggle into your lap whenever she can. Trixie is definitely an inside dog and needs to welcome indoors and to sleep inside.
She is toilet trained and has good basic training. She doesn't bark much. She has lived with small dogs but she prefers the company of people. She gets anxious when left home alone for long periods so she would be best suited to someone who is home a lot.
Trixie will be a perfect companion for someone who doesn't work full time and wants a lap dog.
For more information or to meet Trixie, please contact her foster carer Deb on 0414 788 089 or 02 4958 8098 or email debday2@hotmail.com. Trixie is in foster care in Marmong Point, NSW 2284 (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Trixie's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
