Foster carer needed for Winston. Winnie belonged to a breeder on the Gold Coast and was rehomed to a family and they thought everything was fine until one day he ended back on their doorstep, malnourished, timid, blind in one eye and needing much TLC, he is now healthy and happy but requires a quiet home.

Winnie now needs to go into foster care or a forever home, with a patient loving person or family that can give him the time and attention he needs, someone home a lot, perhaps retired, somewhere that makes him the baby of the family and someone with a lot of love to give.

Winnie is an energetic, lively dog who enjoys playing with his favourite toy - a mouse on a string that vibrates. He enjoys attention, laying on couch, and sitting with family but does not like being held for long periods of time. He is blind in one eye however this condition has been monitored by the vet and does not seem to cause him any major problems. He is house trained and does enjoy coming in for a cuddle at night time. He has no separation anxiety and copes well when left for holidays. He travels well in the car. He has had many interactions with other dogs but does not seem to pay much attention to them.

Winnie does not like loud noises so a calm and settled home would suit him well. He has not had many interactions with small children, so older quieter kids recommended.
