About Mia
If you are looking for a very quiet and friendly greyhound girl, Mia is the right dog for you.
Mia is a timid 3 year old girl and likes to play with her toys. She enjoys her walks and absolutely adores human company. She currently lives with a small female whippet and sometimes goes to work with her foster mum. At work, a busy retail store, she likes to hide behind the counter and stay close to her foster mum.
Mia has bonded hard and fast with her foster mum and shows mild signs of distress when she is left alone for longer periods. \ She is completely fine if left with her foster sister, Mishka the whippet. We think Mia may not have been treated well in her past life and she needs someone with time and patience for her to build up her confidence.
However, once you have earned Mia's trust, she is a bouncy, happy and playful girl who loves walks and playtime.
She would adapt to any household, with or without kids, but we prefer if she would be adopted by a family with another dog for company. Mia is happy to stay home alone for reasonable periods of time and greets you with the most enthusiastic tail wagging you will have ever seen. She is absolutely over the moon when she is with her family again!
Mia gets along with all dogs, large and small, and even shows signs of being cat tolerant. She does not seem to have a prey drive and seems completely unfazed when she sees cats and small dogs running around. Mia has the most lovely and sweet nature!
