Sarge (On Trial 13/2/15) ~ Boxer x Mastiff puppy

Sarge is a 10 week old, male, large mixed-breed puppy. Sarge has a very loving temperament and is great with children. He lives in a home with 2 and 4 year old boys, and he will chase them around fetching a ball or toys for hours on end. He loves cuddles and playing with your feet. He would love to go to a family with kids or another young dog who loves play time just as much as he does.

Sarge is quite a mix of breeds! His mother is a Staffy x Mastiff x Bull Arab and his father is a Boxer x Great Dane x Neopolitan Mastiff. In other words, he will grow up to be a big dog. He will need good fences.

Sarge is great with other dogs. He is learning doggy etiquette from our other dogs. He is very playful with his new friends as they tumble about play fighting and chasing each other. He is also very curious and will venture out exploring in the garden searching for a new adventure.
I am unsure on what Sarge would be like with cats or other animals. But he is still young enough to learn to accept them.

Sarge will follow you around the house when you are at home or lay at your feet when you are sitting on the couch. He loves human company as well as canine friends. He sleeps in a puppy crate overnight as he feels safe and cosy and will sleep through the night. Sarge is an inside puppy and needs to be allowed inside when his family is home and he must sleep inside at night even when he is older. He loves his food and eats well.

Sarge has started toilet training and does not go to the toilet in his puppy crate. He will take himself outside when the doors are open. Occasionally he may have accidents inside when his foster mum forgets to put him outside after food and drinks or play time. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training and socialisation.

Sarge is 1 of 5 puppies born on the 8th November 2014. He has 3 bothers and 1 sister. DRN was contacted and asked to take the 3 little boys. His brothers Angus and Tank are also available for adoption.

Sarge would best suit a forever home with another friendly playful dog as he is very dog social. He'd also be great with children. He will be a great addition to a loving family.
