About Smokey
Young Smokey was born in a high kill shelter and currently is in foster care with his Mum and siblings. A super friendly young man, Smokey is now a junior and being a junior cat is ideal for very young children. He loves to be picked up and cuddled and also can spare his time for a bit of play in boxes or with toys.
Smokey is a gentle placid young man and would make a fantastic pet. Smokey also wants to let everyone know he is a stunning looking boy who is sure to melt hearts!!!
Smokey is a tabby grey smoke, which means his under coat is silver white in colour. If Brad Pitt were a cat, he would look like Smokey or should that be if Smokey was a man, he would look like Brad Pitt. Doesn't really matter, you know exactly what we are saying!!
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW. I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $51 once off fee. This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of love care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
