About Mia
Mia... Miss Have-a-chat
Mia is a gorgeous little girl and quite quirky at times. Mia would be best suited to a quiet home without very young children as she has a shy nature until she feels secure with her surroundings.
Mia is at the age where she would be fine to leave alone if you work and are away from home during the day. She also would be ideal for anyone wanting to skip the live wire kitten stage.
Her foster Mum said Mia comes running when she knows its dinner time and chats away while her food is prepared. She loves to rub around your legs and look up at you with those soft eyes
She surprised us all at her photo shoot, she was very taken by the camera, looking directly into the lens and almost willing the photographer to keep snapping away. She was the perfect cat model
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW. I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $51 once off fee. This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
