About Slim
This boy is amazing. He was found wandering the streets so was taken to the vets where he stayed for a week because his condition was that poor he couldn't go to the pound. He was abandoned and literally skin and bone, but even in the sorry state that he was in he has never shown any malice.
He ended up in the pound where we could spend time with him and fatten him up enough to get him desexed, this took a couple of months but he is now in foster care and is just so sweet it’s incredible.
He plays with other dogs, male and female and some days when they don't know they are being watched, him and the other fosters romp around with each other and play tug happily.
He chases the hose and in the really hot days he will spend hours playing with the water and hose (if you let him).
Slim is great inside, very quiet, and he rarely barks when he is outside.
He is usually just standing at the door waiting to come in without a noise. Although he doesn't spend a lot of time inside, he would prefer to be an inside dog and loves to be with you.
If you are sitting at the computer or the bench he is there beside you.
And needless to say he loves his food.
He gets quite upset if he doesn't get 2 meals a day and will revert to checking out the bin.
He is good to walk and the lead and he loves the car.
He also has pretty good recall but it could be improved on.
If he has his nose on the ground that's sometimes more interesting than coming back. But he does eventually. He is on property and does have a wonder but he never goes far.
