About Bouncer (On Trial 16/2/15) ~ Jrt x
This gorgeous little boy is Bouncer, a 5 month old, Jack Russell Terrier cross. He is full of puppy enthusiasm and would be best suited to a home with a doggy friend for him to play with. He needs lively young friend and who loves to fetch, play and wrestle. Bouncer is living with 5 other dogs at his foster carers house and he enjoys all of them. There are also chickens and cats there and he gets on well with them too.
We are teaching Bouncer some basic commands such as "sit" and he is learning quickly. He walks well on lead and loves going to the park for walks. As with all young dogs we recommend training classes so he learns what is expected of him.
Bouncer needs to be welcome inside when people are home. He needs to sleep inside. He is sleeping well by himself at night. He is a lively, inquisitive pup who is enjoying exploring his environment. When he's taking a break from playing, he loves to find his people for some cuddles and nap time.
Bouncer has not spent time in a pound, he was privately surrendered when his family could no longer carer for him.
Bouncer would be best suited to an active family who is willing to play and spend time with him. He will be good with young children, however still has his baby teeth so children over about 6 would be best. He is not a destructive puppy and enjoys playing with his toys, especially tug-o-war and tennis balls.
Bouncer will need to be returned to one of our vets for one more vaccination (included in his adoption fee), so until that is done in early February, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens.
For more information or to meet Bouncer, please send an email to Karen: plumb2a@bigpond.com. Bouncer is in foster care near Gosford, NSW (Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bouncer's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
