Sumo (On Trial 3/2/15)~ English Staffy puppy

Little Sumo is a 9 week old, male, purebred English Staffy puppy. A typical puppy, Sumo enjoys romping in the yard with our other dogs and playing with all sorts of toys. He is a healthy boy and has been very well socialised with other dogs and puppies and gets along fabulously with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages. I don't have a cat but He is young enough to think of a cat as just another playmate.

We recommend puppy training classes for all puppies. Sumo will need a daily walk, toys, and interaction with people. Puppies are a big commitment for approximately 15 years.

Sumo needs to be allowed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. He will be great family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. He will grow up to be a medium sized dog. You will need solid fencing with solid material underneath such sleepers or concrete with no gaps. He cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). Gates need to have locks on them to discourage dog thieves (sad but true).

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Sumo. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.

As Sumo is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's 4 or 5 months old.
