About Tonks
Can you mend a broken heart?
Tonks is a very special girl who needs a very special home that will give her oodles of love.
Tonks is a trained herding dog, who, until recently, was working on a farm with her companion and master. Sadly, her owner passed away, leaving Tonks heart-broken.
Tonks is a very gentle and loving girl, with a playful nature. She can be quite timid and shy, as she is still grieving and is desperately seeking some love and will do anything to please. Tonks has lived harmoniously with cats, rabbits and other dogs, though would prefer a more mature dog as puppies tend to drive her a bit crazy. Fantastic and gentle with children, though older children would suit her as the loudness of little ones can give her a fright (though she would never be anything but gentle with them).
As a trained herding dog, Tonks is a very good girl - listening to and following commands. She sleeps indoors throughout the night and is happy to come inside and stay on her bed, surrounded by family. Tonks walks on a harness leash very well, not distracted by anything around her.
Ideally, Tonks would suit a farm or a property, getting back to doing what she has always loved. Even in suburbia with a daily walk and some weekend adventures, Tonks would be very happy. All she needs is to be surrounded with lots of love to help her overcome and move forward from her grief for her previous owner.
Medical notes
Tonks has been desexed, vaccinated and micro chipped. She is up to date with flea and worm control
