About Lolly *On Trial in Her New Home*
*LOLLY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Lolly the love-bug is looking for a new forever home – will it be with you???
Loveable Lolly is a delightful little dog with a sweet personality who just adores cuddles and spending time with you. She’s a gentle natured girl who is friendly and affectionate without being ‘in your face’; it’s easy to forget she’s only 12 months old as she seems worldlier than that. Lolly has settled in well into foster care where her carer’s own dogs have been enjoying her company especially their puppy who’s a similar size to Lolly and they love to play and play! She’s not really into toys so we doubt she’s had much to do with them in her previous life; she much prefers the contact she gets from other dogs or humans.
From her foster carer:
Lolly gets very excited to see her humans! She loves to follow us around and when she’s super-happy she does a bit of a ballet pirouette while standing on her hind legs. When she came into our care she was timid towards men, there may be a history of being threatened by a man as she is fine with females, although in saying this she was good with my husband and my stepson – she was just a little timid towards a neighbour but once we assured her that he is ok (and he spoke to her softly, telling her how beautiful she is etc) she soon warmed up to him.
She sits on command for Schmackos and isn’t fussy when it comes to food, although she’s a delicate eater as a lady should be - there has been no food aggression between our dogs and Lolly. She is also fine with our cat and isn’t interested in our chickens.
Lolly is happy to be outside, but also happy to be inside. \ Sometimes she will sit on your lap, but only if invited, she’s not at all demanding. If she is inside she likes to curl up by the window when the sun is in the right spot. I believe she is toilet trained as she’s never had an accident when inside though we do let her out regularly.

We’re not sure what breeds of Terrier make up little Lolly though she doesn’t shed much of her soft, silky fur and is fairly low-maintenance only needing the occasional bath to keep her smelling fresh. Secure fencing, bones to chew on and lots of love will make Lolly very happy indeed!
Lolly would do well in a home with a middle aged or elderly couple or a family with older children (8+yrs) as long as there is someone around for company otherwise another dog would be perfect.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
