About Wilson (Trial 27/1/15 ~ Pug x Miniiature Schnauzer
My name is Wilson, I am a male Pug x Schnauzer and I will be turning 3 years of age in February and I would very much love to spend my next birthday in my forever home!
My foster mum thinks I have the sweetest, trustworthy nature; I even surprised her that I don’t bark. I am fully housetrained and don’t mind being left alone while you go out. I am very friendly with children, I love it when they throw a ball or play with me! Oh, you have a cat- that’s okay, I love them too!
My previous owner would provide me with my favourite dry food- Advantage biscuits, which I would really love my new owner to buy for me too. I know basic commands and my favourite things to do are playing and following my owners around, I love to be a great companion. My ideal home would be either a family, or retired person or couple who would like a quiet companion, who wouldn’t mind a little ball-play rather than long walks as these tire me out!
To inquire about Wilson, please send an email to brooke.hyland@uon.edu.au. Wilson is in care at Lambton NSW 2299
Wilsons’ $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
