About Shelby (D2876)
Shelby is a lovely dog and has a beautiful, loyal nature. She needs a special home though, as it appears she has been traumatised in the past by a male in Hi-Viz work wear. She will bond very closely to her owner, become absolutely devoted to you and follow you around all day. While she is great with children when out and about, her protectiveness of her pack leader means she is probably not suited for living in a family situation. or with another dog. Being a smart dog, she will need a strong pack leader to help her know that leading the pack is not her role.
Shelby is eager to learn and please. She picks up new tricks easily and loves to be close. She loves going to the beach but can take or leave walks - she really just loves hanging out with her human.

Shelby is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and toilet trained.
Adoption details
Love the look of Shelby but think she’s too far away? Not a problem. For a reasonable cost we can fly her almost anywhere in WA or interstate thanks to our sponsors at QANTAS Air Freight and the Toll Group.
You can feel safe to adopt long distance because SAFE animals come with a “lifetime guarantee” so if for any reason they are no longer able to stay in your care, we will take them back without hesitation.
