About Lumia
Lumia is everything you could want in a dog!
She is extremely sweet and loving, and will show you this with lots of polite little licks. Basic commands are a breeze as she can sit and drop/lay down when asked. Lumia is great off the lead and has never ventured far from her foster carer at the off lead dog park, returning when called. She also walks well on lead and has lovely manners.
Her foster carer has never heard her bark and she does not dig. She is not a fussy eater but particularly enjoys her dental chew with her breakfast and loves beef liver treats which she takes every so gently! In the house Lumia is a lady. She is house trained and likes to follow her foster carer around or just sit by her feet. At night she sleeps in her crate and doesn't stir until morning.
Lumia has been living with a number of other doggies while in foster care and likes running around the local off lead dog park with other dogs which she gets along well with. A home with another similarly natured dog would be nice but not necessary as Lumia is very relaxed and easy going. Although she hasn't lived with a cat while in foster care, she has visited one and did not show any aggression towards her. In fact, she even thought it was best to leave the room when the cat hissed at her!
Lumia would suit any person, couple or family as long as she is given love, some attention and a walk. Though she would probably find a very loud household a bit harder to settle in at as she finds some loud noises a little scary. She is a little shy meeting new people at first however, once she knows you she'll be your new best friend and is very loyal to her humans.
So if your looking for an easy going, quiet but happy dog to join your family then Lumia is your girl!

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
