About Louie (Adoption Pending)
Caramel and Jay Jay were rescued from a backyard breeder in Northern NSW. Although they were only 1 and 2 years old, they had already had one litter. When we went to desex them, we discovered Caramel was expecting puppies again. She was half way through her pregnancy.
6 healthy, chubby puppies were born in the beginning of November. They were delivered via c-section as they are far too large for Caramel to deliver naturally. Since then, they have been spoilt rotten and very loved by their foster carers.
The pups are happy and healthy. They are round and chubby with excellent appetites. Both Caramel and Jay Jay have beautiful gentle natures and we are confident their pups are going to be just as lovely.
The pups will be ready for adoption at the beginning of February when they are 12 weeks of age. To apply to adopt Louie, please complete this application form: http://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/12529dMiAly65p5nEdDC
Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Moorooka or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant xrays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heart worm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a four week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
