About Flash (On Trial 7/2/15) ~ Loves People and Cats!
Flash is a gorgeous and friendly 11 month old Kelpie mix. He is a social chap who is full of personality who loves to play. He is truly an adorable little guy. He can use a doggie door and has never made a mess inside. He loves to come inside during the day to spend quality time with his family as he loves his humans so much! Flash’s goal in life is to play! He has a big smile on his face most of the time and just wants to have fun. Flash is in foster care with a kitten and they are best friends!
Flash is very flexible. He has coped well with the vet clinic, other dogs, a walk around town on a lead and some pretty long car trips. He has met sheep, chickens and horses, interacted with 7 other dogs including a very aged tiny dog, some dominant females and another young dog: all the while, he behaved impeccably.
Flash's favourite friend is a tiny kitten! He plays so gently with her and they are so cute together.
Flash didn't have any training before coming into foster care but he has responded well to training as he is very reward focused.
Flash would suit a young family with older active children. He loves other dogs so he would really enjoy a home where he has another friendly dog to play with. He is loads of fun and a happy-go-lucky chap who also loves to snuggle and is thoroughly deserving of a good and permanent home. He is an incredibly loving, trusting and smart little bloke who is going to make the most amazing lifelong friend to some lucky person
Flash sleeps snuggled up with his doggy playmates - he will happily sleep inside with his new furever family if it's on offer. Flash has a short coat so he's very low maintenance when it comes to grooming. Come and meet this easy going friendly boy, you won't be disappointed!
For more information or to meet Flash, please contact his foster carer Annette on 0404-099-021 or email davo@bigpond.net.au. Flash is in foster care in Ourimbah, NSW on the Central Coast.
Flash's adoption fee is $400 and includes his desexing, vaccination, flea and worm treatments, microchipping and registration.

Healthy happy boy
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
