About Bane ~ On Trial 21/2/2015
Hi my name is Bane, and I’m a 9 week old kelpie x cattle puppy. When I first came to my foster mum’s house I was so curious that I was into everything, but I have settled into my new world. I love playing rough and tumble with my brother and even my sisters like to play with me which is awesome! I love to play with toys, I will chase the ball and sometimes bring it back but I think it’s just luck that my foster mum is standing in the right spot and stops me as I run past!
I like pocket pets - I just sit and watch them sometimes when they run up and down their hutch, I follow but I don’t bark or jump on their cage. I live with 2 human girls - they are so good to me! I get cuddles from them and they love to play outside with me. After playing I get so tired that I wander inside to have a rest and recharge.
I am starting to work out where I need to go to the toilet. I do sometimes have accidents but I am only a little guy and I’m a very quick learner. When my foster mummy is working or doing chores, I like to curl up at her feet just to be close to her.
I am an inside puppy and so I need to be allowed inside when my family is home – I must sleep inside at night even when I’m older.
My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life.
My sisters and brothers (there are 10 of them!) are also available for adoption.
If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mum Rachael on 0410 575 264 or email connells3179@hotmail.com. I am in foster care near Wyong, NSW (Central Coast) and am not available for adoption interstate. I will be ready to go to my forever home on the 24th of January when I am 10 weeks old.
My adoption fee is $450 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro chipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
