About Indigo ~ On Trial 24/1/15
Hi my name is Indigo but I love to come to you when you call me Indi for short. \ I’m a 9 week old kelpie cross cattle dog puppy. I love to have snuggles - especially when my siblings are sleeping because then I get all the cuddles to myself! I love to be outside with my human foster sisters chasing them around and playing games - I have met a lot of other children and I like them all.
I have fun outside watching the pocket pets I don’t bark at them or jump on their hutch. I have lots of toys to play with and that keeps me busy as well as playing with my siblings. I sleep on a doggie bed with my siblings but if it’s hot I like to spread out on my tummy on the floorboards.
I am getting the hang of going outside to go to the toilet, I still occasionally have accidents but that’s because I am still young and forget to go outside when I get really excited playing. I love to play outside when it’s nice weather but I like to come inside after playing for a long nap.
I am an inside puppy and so I need to be allowed inside when my family is home – I must sleep inside at night even when I’m older.
My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life.
My sisters and brothers (there are 10 of them!) are also available for adoption.
If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mum Rachael on 0410 575 264 or email connells3179@hotmail.com. \ I am in foster care near Wyong, NSW (Central Coast) and am not available for adoption interstate. I will be ready to go to myforever home on the 24th of January when I am 10 weeks old.
My adoption fee is $450 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro chipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
