About Frankie (On Trial 17/1/15)~ female Shih Tzu x
Frankie is a 3 and a half year old, female, Shih Tzu x Poodle. She is a quiet girl, not a barker. She enjoys going for walks. She's a very affectionate dog who needs a home with someone who is home most of the time or can take her with them. She would suit a mature person or couple.
Frankie is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She will need a daily walk as she is a young dog. She gets upset by thunderstorms and needs to be inside when they occur. She plays nicely with other small, friendly dogs.
Frankie has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
Frankie is a darling little girl who will make someone very happy.
For more information or to meet Frankie, please contact her foster carer Loraine on 02-4023-3085. Frankie is in foster care near Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Frankie's adoption fee is only $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
