Introducing Sass (D074) the 9 year old female Greyhound who is looking for a safe and loving home to retire in. (D.O.B 4/11/2006)

Sass is an unassuming girl that just wants to be loved, to be taken for a gentle stroll each day and a soft bed to sleep in. She has found herself homeless in her senior years and tonight is enjoying foster care with two other Greyhounds.

Like all Greyhounds Sass is low maintenance requiring a 15 - 20 minute daily stroll. She would be an ideal pet for an older couple who are looking for a sedate and loving companion. We are sure Sass would love to curl up on a couch with you or lay at your feet.

Sass is not a fan of cats so will not be suitable to be rehoused with them. She does not have her "Green Collar" so would need to be muzzled when out in the community. Her new owners may elect to go through the Greyhound Adoption Program for an assessment so that Sass can get her "Green Collar" and able to be walked without a muzzle.

Sass' adoption fee is $150 which will help to cover some of the veterinary treatment for de-sexing, micro-chipping, 1st vaccination, worm and flea treatment. (It will also cover the costs of the remainder of the 2014-15 council registration if she continues to reside in the HRCC council area.)
