Arnie

Look at that big gorgeous smile! Arnie is a 17 month old Kelpie X boy looking for his forever home. A DNA test would surely provide interesting reading, as while he is described as a Kelpie X, his mother was a Red Heeler and he’s the size of an athletic Golden Retriever. Regardless of what breed he is, Arnie is a gorgeous, happy go lucky kinda guy. Always happy to see you, and sociable with other dogs and cats, Arnie will fit into many lifestyles. He already has much of his basic training covered, though treats are occasionally necessary to keep his attention, as he does love to sniff just about everything he comes across. He will happily curl up in the car in the backseat while on adventures, and loves to meet new people and go new places. He will reliably wait for a release cue to have his dinner, and has no issue with toys and bones being taken from him. With a little edible encouragement, he also will sit, lay down and stay on cue.
Arnie came from an incredibly regretful surrender, and has been loved his whole life. As such, he’s a big smooch and absolutely revels in human attention. He is always so happy to see you once you return. A gentle giant, he prances as he gallops around and scampers on little tippy toes, play bowing for attention from the other dogs in foster care with him. He has stolen our hearts with his big goofy smile and adoring heart. This is one very special young man, who only deserves the best of forever homes. We will be looking for someone with a little space for him to stretch out his long legs, and who will make him truly feel like a special part of the family.
Arnie is up to date with fleaing and worming and he is vaccinated, desexed and microchipped.
