Lucky

Lucky was surrendered by his owners just before they departed to live overseas. He was found to be in a tremendous amount of constant pain from a previous eye operation that went wrong. He had a tear gland protruding and a stitch in his eye that was non-dissolving. He was also trying to survive with poison going through his bloodstream from an infected mouth - so bad that pus was constantly dribbling from his mouth. The stench of the infection could be smelt 12 feet away. . . . . Despite lucky's ordeal in the hands of sub-standard owners, his temperament is remarkable - he's so grateful for anything you do for him. Lucky has been on a course of antibiotics to quell the infection before his real treatment can begin. He now needs an operation to save his eye and to remove just about all his teeth, as they're so rotten he'll never be healthy if he retains them. The total cost of his operation is $900 and so far we have raised $200.
