About Tyce ~ (On Trial 24/1/15)
Tyce is an 8 week old Kelpie x Cattle Dog puppy. He loves playing chase with his sister Tully. He is very friendly and confident and will bounce up to you for a play or a cuddle. Tyce thinks everyone wants to be his best mate and that everyone would love to play with him. He love to cuddle and snuggles in to your neck.
Tyce is great with other dogs. He is learning doggy etiquette as he is around an 11 year old female dog. He is very playful with his young sister and they tumble about play fighting, chasing each other. He is also very curious and will venture out exploring in the garden searching for a new adventure.
Tyce is great with kids. He lives in a home with 6 and 8 year old boys, and he will chase them around playing catch, or playing soccer (with a small soccer ball) for hours on end. He would love to go to a family with kids or another doggy playmate who has just as much energy as him.
He is OK with pocket pets as he is in foster care with 2 guinea pigs and a rabbit - he is interested in them, and may bark with excitement when they come up to the side of the cage to sniff at him. He is not aggressive towards them, just playful.
Tyce will follow you around the house when you are at home. He loves human company as well as to play with his sister. He sleeps in a puppy crate overnight – he feels safe and cosy sleeping in his puppy crate with his sister and will sleep through the night. Tyce is an inside puppy and needs to be allowed inside when his family is home – he must sleep inside at night even when he is older. \ He is fed 3 times - he loves his food and eats well.
Tyce has started toilet training and does not go to the toilet in his puppy crate. He will take himself outside when the doors are open, but will occasionally have accidents inside when his foster mum forgets to put him outside after food and drinks or play time.
Tyce would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog as he is so dog social. Tyce is too young to be left alone for long periods of time. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training and socialisation.
Tyce’s sisters and brothers (there are 10 of them!) are also available for adoption.
For more information about Tyce, please contact Nicola on 0401 744 182 or email icyana@hotmail.com. Tyce is in foster care near Gosford, NSW (Central Coast) and is not available for adoption interstate. Tyce will be ready to go to his forever home on the 24th of January when he is 10 weeks old.
Tyce adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro chipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
