About Biscuit
Biscuit is such a sweet puppy. He was saved at the very last minute from a country pound, where he was due to be euthanized. The team at Pound Paws ensured his safety and although he is not a chihuahua, we were happy to take him into our care as we had an available carer. We love all dogs, not just little ones!
Biscuit has the nature of a Labrador - goofy, playful, friendly and affectionate. When he sees someone he loves, he runs up to them and leaps in the air with joy. He is only a baby and is learning his manners, and doing very well at that! Bikkie is very smart and loves to play.
Biscuit is great with other dogs of all sizes, he is being fostered with a Shepherd x and some little chihuahuas! He is excellent with cats and pays not attention to the guinea pigs that are also in his foster home.
He would be an excellent family dog, and will benefit from ongoing puppy training.

Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Moorooka or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant xrays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heart worm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a four week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
