About Yoda
This is Yoda. He's a pretty special little man, who was surrendered to us by his owners. Yoda loves his people and he gets very sad when they're not with him. He has spent the last couple of years outside on his own and is now very protective of his time inside. He does not like to be forced outside, although he will follow you out and potter around the garden with you. His favourite place to be is beside you, whether sitting at your feet or walking beside you.
Yoda knows some cool tricks, including round (in the direction you point), sit, stay, wait, lie down, roll over, speak, come, 'use the force' and shake. \ However, at this point, he will only do them for treats. He is crate trained, and will take himself off to his crate when he gets over excited. While he does sleep in there at his foster carer's, he would be happy to sleep next to his owner's bed.
Due to his extensive time outside, Yoda gets overwhelmed by new places and smells. At this point, he is not a dog who can come with you to a cafe or even out for long walks. These would have to be introduced in small doses. He has not been walked for years either, and while he enjoys a very short walk on a lead, this would have to be increased over time. We are recommending a home without children under 14, as he prefers quite predictability.
Yoda currently shares his foster home with 3 other dogs and a cat with no problems, however he would much prefer to be the focus of his owner's attention as an only dog.
If you are looking for a gorgeous little man who will love you with his whole heart, and can provide him with the security and affection he craves, please consider Yoda.
