About Tully ~ On Trial 22/1/15
Tully is an 8 week old Kelpie x Cattle Dog puppy. She loves playing chase with her brother Tyce. She is a bit shy, but once she gets to know you she is full of puppy kisses, puppy breath and loves a cuddle. She snuggles in and loves to be stroked and held.
Tully is great with other dogs. She is learning doggy etiquette as she is around an 11 year old female dog. She is very playful with her brother and they tumble about play fighting, chasing each other, and though she is smaller than him, she stands up for herself and is able to defend herself.
Tully is great with kids. She is in a house with 6 and 8 year old boys who spend hours running around throwing a ball for her and she loves chasing after them.
She is OK with pocket pets as she is in foster care with 2 guinea pigs and a rabbit - she is interested in them, and may bark with excitement when they come up to the side of the cage to sniff at her. She is not aggressive towards them, just playful.
Tully will follow you around the house when you are at home. She loves to be close to her humans. She sleeps in a puppy crate overnight – she feels safe and coxy sleeping in her puppy crate with her brother and will sleep through the night. Tully is an inside puppy and needs to be allowed inside when her family is home – she must sleep inside at night even when she is older. She is fed 3 times, and she loves her food and eats well.
Tully has started toilet training and does not go to the toilet in her puppy crate. S he will take herself outside when the doors are open, but will occasionally have accidents inside when her foster mum forgets to put her outside after food and drinks or play time.
Tully would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot. Tully is very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training and socialisation.
Tully’s sisters and brothers (there are 10 of them!) are also available for adoption.
For more information about Tully, please contact Nicola on 0401 744 182 or email icyana@hotmail.com. Tully is in foster care near Gosford, NSW (Central Coast) and is not available for adoption interstate. Tully will be ready to go to her forever home on the 24th of January when she is 10 weeks old.
Tully adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro chipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
