Daisy

Daisy is a lovable, gentle sweetheart and SO CUTE! She may be a mere 6.5kg in size, but she has a heart the size of Phar Lap. This wee girl is so divine and funny, she will truly enrich the lives of her new family. She’s the perfect little companion.
She is approximately one year to 18 months old and possibly a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix breed (she has been dubbed ‘the little fox’).
Daisy is a low maintenance dog in many ways, but she does need a family who have the time to snuggle and chat to her and include her in daily activities. Currently, she spends time outside with her four-legged foster brother while foster Mum goes to work, and indoors all other times. She would not cope well with being outside for long periods on her own, and is best suited to a mostly indoor life.
Daisy is both calm and playful. She is not high energy, but she would be happiest if she had regular opportunities to socialise with other dogs and to explore, then spend the rest of the day cuddling. She can be shy with new people or situations initially, but her curiosity always wins. She would be suited to most lifestyles: a family with children or a retired couple or individual. She is a devoted and loyal companion: she adores her human. Daisy can be independent, but she would really thrive in a household with other pets, big or small - except the feathered variety. She appears to be curious; yet calm, with cats.
• Daisy is toilet trained, but this was a recent achievement, so she will need some ongoing encouragement in her new home initially.
• She may be a small terrier breed, but she is not yappy and is confident with big boisterous dogs.
• Daisy has good lead etiquette and gets very excited about walkies.
• She knows most basic commands and is responsive when called.
• Daisy is short-haired, but needs a brush every few days.
