About Digger
We have named this boy Digger as it seemed to suit him, being a Kelpie.
He is a stunning looking boy, and came to us after he had spent most of his life tied up and little TLC.
He is about 12mths old and has been in care for a couple of weeks now.
He seems to be a typical working dog and wants to round up the other foster dogs. If they don't move in the right direction he runs in and gives a bit of a nip.
He loves working and is quite focused. He will come in when the other dogs are inside; he sleeps in a crate at night and hasn't made a mess.
He loves cuddles and is quite timid at times and when he is inside he is quite comfortable.
He would be best with one other dog or no dogs as he seems to be more relaxed when there is nothing to get him excited.
He is great around food, house trained, pretty good on the lead.
If he doesn't go to a new home as a working dog he would need to go to a home where he is going to get lots of one on one and follow up training.
