About Jem
Jem is a lovely girl experiencing a new lease on life. She has a beautiful heart and a smile to match, and so many kisses and cuddles to give.
This gorgeous girl is a delight to have by your side all day, boasting perfect house training and food manners. She is a very smart cookie with a repertoire of clever tricks to show off. She is learning to walk well on a lead, though she will need ongoing training to keep her enthusiasm in check when meeting new people!
Most of all, Jem loves to be doing what you are doing, whether that's running errands or chilling on the couch. She is crate trained and sleeps happily in her crate at night.
As a sufferer of dermatitis, Jem has a soothing oatmeal bath once a week. She reckons the best part of having a bath is rolling around afterwards and getting a big fresh bone that keeps her busy for hours!
MY IDEAL HOME: I would really and truly adore a furever home with lots of space, some doggy pals, and a gentle and confident human or two to enjoy the rest of my life with!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I LOVE a nice hearty breakfast before going out on a big lovely run every morning. I make an excellent jogging partner! Vigorous daily exercise is essential to keep me happy and healthy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I don't mind older kids at all, but children 5 years and younger are not a good match for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm told I can be a bit bossy sometimes - as a typical Cattle I'm a natural 'top dog' - but I'd love some insta-doggy siblings in my new family! I haven't met any cats so far.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
