About Dobie
Dobie is an eager, exuberant, attentive and energetic boy that is perpetually busy looking for a playmate, a game or a chew toy. He still displays many puppy traits like dropping off to sleep unexpectedly and jumping up to say hello but is learning good manners on his runs and certainly always sits for his meals. Dobie definitely needs a doggy buddy to keep him busy and to play tug of war with and he must be exercised daily. His buddy needs to be evenly matched to Dobie's enthusiasm for rough and tumble dog play but he's great with kids, kittens and other dogs. Dobie chases the adult cats because they run away and he assumes it's a game but is gentle and playful and even carries the kitten around in his mouth like a baby! He loves the lounge and a soft, cosy lap and is a great smoocher. He travels perfectly in the car and is also very patient with grooming and attention. Dobie is on the larger side of small weighing in at 9kgs with long legs and a slight build. He is a house dog requiring indoor access via a doggy door or open door and his coat will grow and require grooming to keep him looking and feeling great. He has been renamed Doobie Scooby by his foster family and is one cool dog who will win your heart!
