About Joey
“I’m Joey and I love to jump and zoom down the runs at the kennels. I’m very friendly and playful with other dogs medium to large sized but cats and small dogs just aren’t my bag baby! I am very good on the lead, and I’m looking for a family that will let me demonstrate my good looks by modelling an array of doggy fashions and letting me practice my posing skills – I do my own version of “Blue Steel” called “Woe Face” and I’m very good at it. I’ve been practising on those volunteers who all fall for are charmed by my good looks and I get lots of pats and cuddles, which I adore, but I need an a new audience! The problem is, not everyone wants a big blue boy like me, even with my good looks, which makes me very sad. I may not even have to practice my Woe Face soon if someone doesn’t adopt me…wait, you say you like boys? Well what are you waiting for? Come and get me! You’ll just need to get in touch with the volunteers first, info@greyhoundrescue.com.au”

Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
