About Rufus (Trial 31/1/15)~ kelpie
Rufus is a loving, playful, 9 month old, male kelpie. He loves to play fetch, go for walks, roll on the grass and be with people. He would suit being an only fur baby, so he can have all the love and attention he needs. He understands "sit", "bed", "down" and travels extremely well.
Rufus loves children and keeping you company on the lounge watching TV.
He is medium size and weighs approx 16 kgs. He is a low maintenance boy with only needing a bath and a brush over. He is a very handsome dog with his alert, keen eyes and upright ears.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
