About Brandy (On Trial 13/2/15) ~ Schnauzer x Staffy
Brandy is a unique silver Schnauzer x Staffy, who just turned 7 years old. If you are seeking a genuine companion then here she is. Brandy is very young at heart! She loves to be part of the family and will follow her special someone without getting underfoot.
Brandy loves to play tug-o-war or chase a soccer ball when it is kicked for her. She is extremely social and mixes well with all other pooches. She loves people and children too. Despite her solid build Brandy is very gentle. She has terrific manners when eating and does not try to take her fosters sister's meals. She is easy to give tablets to and can be bathed without fuss. She is an excellent passenger in the car and loves having the breeze on her face. She is not concerned with lawn mowers or vacuum cleaners however storms and fireworks will upset her and she does need to be inside during these times.
Brandy loves nothing better than to go for brisk walks. She has be well trained on the leash and does not pull or tug. She will need to be walked for at least 40 minutes daily. She enjoys the beach and she is venturing into the water to cool off and have a swim. She also enjoys sitting at a cafe.
Brandy has been well cared and was a private surrender. Her birthday is 6/1/2007. She is seeking a forever home with a family who will enjoy her company and spend time with her especially during the evenings and weekends. Brandy is housed trained and must sleep inside at night and be allowed inside when people are home.
If you are interested in a true companion and would like more information about Brandy please contact her foster carer Amanda on 0424041564 or email: amattheheights@gmail.com. Brandy is in foster care near Charlestown, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
