About Lucas
Here we have Lucas , a 7yr golden saluki cross collie. Lucas is a very loving gentle sensitive boy. Everyone that meets him falls in love instantly. Lucas is originally from Dubai. He was adopted by a very loving retiree couple 3yrs ago and flown to Australia. Lucas has been very loved and cared for his whole life , and his personality reflects that! He will need a forever home that can continue to give him this love , and really become a member of the family. Lucas loves nothing more than to just be with his humans. He's happy to lie on his bed or mat, and just be with the family. He loves his walks , has excellent recall and loves to explore. Lucas also loves the water! He's a great swimmer , but really just likes to sit in the water. Lucas is very sensitive and does take time to trust , but once trust has happened , extremely loyal. The saluki in lucus, makes for a fantastic guard dog with perfect hearing! Lucas has a massive soft spot for human food. Especially chicken, and will easely not eat his biscuits , for the chance of scraps!. As he is slightly over weight, soft vegies with his biscuits recommended. Lucas hair grows quite long and will need regular clipping and grooming. Lucas is excellent with kids and other dogs, but would not suit a home with cats. Lucas ideal forever home would be a quiet home that the owners can spend time with him, he is sensitive and does not like to be alone, however being with other dogs is ok but he would not suit a house with a puppy.
