Rusty

Hi, my name is Rusty and I am nearly 8 years of age. I am house trained and used to sleeping inside. I have a high arousal to roughhouse play taught to me when young by previous owners and although I have lived with young children under supervision I would be better suited to teenagers who would have better control over me as I do settle down when told to.

I am good in the car and love paddling in my clamshell pool and also with the hose when the garden is being watered. I am not frightened of thunderstorms. Been having fun here running with Linda's girls and am quite good on the lead.

Have also been assessed by Trish Harris of Four Paws K9 Training who found me to be a friendly, well natured dog who likes playing with the tug toy and shows a good amount of tolerance to frustration. I am a little reserved on meeting people and may take a little while to get to know and trust you.

I am dog friendly and would probably suit a home with a female dog. Please note I am not suitable for rehoming with any cats.
