About Hope (Trial 25/1/15) ~ kelpie x staghound puppy
Hope is a 9 week old kelpie x staghound puppy. She is a beautiful black girl with a white star on her chest. She is an active little puppy and runs around like mad with our other dogs then plops down for a nap. She is very affectionate and likes to be with you.
Hope is currently living in a house with children, cats and a rabbit and is friends with all of them. Hope must be welcome in the house to be part of the family, and to sleep inside, at least until fully grown.
We think Hope will grow up to be a medium sized dog. You will need solid fencing with solid material underneath such sleepers or concrete and no small gaps. She cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). Being only a puppy she will need training. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Hope is only 9 weeks old and won't be ready to go to her new home until she is 12 wks old at the end of February, but you can meet her now and pay a holding deposit. Hope's brother Hunter is also available http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/338992
For more information or if you would like to meet Hope, please email Christy Christyboyle1983@hotmail.com. Hope is in foster care in Port Macquarie, NSW (mid north coast, north of Newcastle).
Hope's adoption fee is only $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
