About Doc *On Trial in His New Home*
*DOC IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* \ What’s up Doc???? He needs a loving forever home, that’s what’s up! A home where he’s allowed inside and hopefully with another fun-loving canine companion if you’re away for much of the day.
Recently rescued from Swan Hill pound this adorable hunk of spunk is always up for a bit of fun. He is a friendly, bouncy puppy who just adores people and laps up all the cuddles and affection he can get - he’s one of those happy pups whose tail never stops wagging plus he’s got a great Staffy smile!
Doc’s a busy young boy who’d be perfect for an active owner. He walks well on a lead without pulling and enjoys getting out and about as well as travelling well in a car. Clever Doc will 'sit' for Schmackos, as a matter of fact it was hard trying to get him to stand up during his photoshoot he was being such a good boy! The fact that he’s treat orientated will help with any further training you’d like to do with him - he quickly learnt the name we gave him and has good recall too.

Loveable Doc is playful with other dogs so a doggie friend with similar energy levels would suit him best. He loves to play with toys and especially likes a game of tug-o-war. He reckons children are fun though due to his high-energy levels older children would be better as he may accidentally knock over a toddler in his playful exuberance. Doc does get excited and jumps up a bit when he first sees you though he soon settles and a firm “down” certainly helps.
And here’s some of him playing with his foster brother Judge: http://youtu.be/tmmpjTCjr4M
Doc is both toilet and crate trained and sleeps inside in his crate at night. He enjoys a snuggle on the couch with you while you watch tv or he’ll hop in his bed on the floor if you ask him to and then stare lovingly at you with his gorgeous chocolate eyes. He loves a splash around in his doggie pool on these hot Mildura days we’ve been having or sometimes he’ll just stand with one paw in his water bowl – he’s just too darn cute!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
