About Sunny (On Trial 4/3/15) ~ loving, gentle Bull Arab
Sunny is a smiling, gentle giant, 10 month old Bull Arab boy. He has a heart filled with love that he wants to share with his forever family. He is currently in foster care with children a cat and he loves them all especially the cat. He is very friendly with dogs of all sizes. Sunny is very gentle with everyone. He is best suited to a home with older children, just because of his size and playfulness he might accidentally knock small kids over.
We are currently training Sunny in basic commands using a clicker and rewards. He is doing amazing well! Of course he will need more training such as lead training as he is very strong and doesn't understand his size. He thinks he is a small puppy.
He is very playful and is gentle with puppies and smaller dogs once he settles in. He loves a wrestle with other dogs and can be submissive in play. He would enjoy living with another dog.
Sunny sleeps inside. He is 100% toilet trained. He must be allowed to come in the house when people are home as he loves being part of his foster family and would be sad and lonely outside.
If you like big dogs then you will love Sunny and he will love you.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
