About Tipsy (On Trial 11/1/15)~ calm female Jack Russell
Tipsy or "Tips" as we fondly call her is a very sweet, 3 year old, female, Jack Russell. Tipsy is very placid and quiet for her age. She definitely is an inside dog and loves nothing more than human company around her. She's very much a lapdog and will happily follow you around while doing household chores or cuddles on the lounge at night. She is fine to be left alone inside during the day and will not destroy the house while you're at work or shops, she will happily wait at the door wagging her tail in excitement to greet you when returning home.
At the moment Tipsy is with 3 other dogs ranging from a big breed down to miniature and although there has been no arguments Tips would much prefer to be an only dog or be with a dog of her size.
Tipsy has learned some basic commands like "sit" and is in the final steps of being fully housetrained. Tipsy is very quiet and will only bark to warn someone is at the door. She shows no food aggression and is fine with children. However she much prefers my older children over my pesky 3 yr old who isn't as gentle as she would like!
Tipsy is such a sweet girl and is waiting for her furever home so she can give you lots of cuddles! If you think Tipsy would suit your family please don't hesitate to call and leave a message.
To enquire regarding an adoption or organise a meet and greet, please call Kylie on 0421 776 770 or email helperofanimalsinneed@gmail.com. Tipsy is in foster care in Corlette, NSW (Port Stephens, north of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
