About Lotus & Marla
MARLA is 7 years (Pug/Pekinese X) and LOTUS is 9 years (Shih tzu) they are a bonded pair.
MARLA is a very cute little mature lady, she loves attention and is very curious and loyal. She will follow you around and wants to be involved in everything you do. She absolutely loves to go for walks.
She enjoys the doggie beach where there are no waves and can have a little swim.
She is well behaved but needs a little bit of basic training, this can be done with treats as she loves her food! She is not shy around other do and loves to run up to meet and play with them. She is loved by everyone who meets her.
She will be a very good companion to anyone who loves small dogs and doesn't want a lap dog. Marla's sister is Lotus, who she has lived with all her life. She can probably be split form her but would most likely be happier to be adopted as a set.
LOTUS is a very cute little mature lady, she is little but has presence, she loves to let you know she is around and is very loyal. She absolutely loves to go for walks.
Lotus is well behaved but needs a little bit of basic training, this can be done with treats as she loves her food! She will sit easily. She barks a little bit at other dogs but this is to be expected as she is so little. She is not shy around other dogs and loves to run up to meet and play with them.
Lotus is loved by everyone who meets her. She will be a very good companion to anyone who loves small dogs and doesn't want a lap dog, although she doesn’t mind the extra bit of attention.
She is a lovely lady who loves lots of love and attention.
She has a sister, Marla, who she has lived with all her life. She can probably be split form her but would most likely be happier to be adopted as a set.
MY IDEAL HOME
MARLA and LOTUS: My ideal home is one where I can hang out in the same room as my owner, I love company. I don't need to sleep on your bed or sofa, I am happy to sleep on a big cushion in the kitchen.
I don't mind waiting for you to come home from work, I'll be good and chill out all day, I'll be ready for my "walkies" when you get home. I love to go for a walk and be social with other dogs and see what's going on in the world.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
