Maggie

Hi, my name is Maggie and I am 3 and a half years of age.
I am house trained, sleep inside and am really good with children although a little excitable like all younger dogs and would suit older children better. I love other dogs and rush to greet them. I am walked twice a day and a bit scared of loud noises like many dogs and need to be close to my humans during these times. I dribble a bit in the car so keep a towel handy!

Unfortunately my family now have a young baby and they have to go out a lot more these days so I am feeling a bit neglected. I get really anxious and have been escaping to the neighbours place for company. When they are at home I sleep most of the day, once I know my humans are around. I have become increasingly unhappy since the baby came along and my family hate seeing me like this and want to find a better situation for me.

I need to be with someone who is home most of the time. Perhaps I would be better living with another friendly dog. Maybe you are retired or you can take me to work with you, but I need company and ongoing training with a behaviourist to stop my anxiety. SRV will have me assessed by one as soon as I arrive.

I am a beautiful loving friendly dog and young enough for this behaviour to be corrected. I will obey commands like sit, lay down, come here, and walk but would also benefit from obedience training which will give me valuable socialisation with other dogs.
