About Bert (D2853)
Staffordshire Terrier x
Well trained, older puppy Bert is seeking a new home where his happy energy, devotion and affection will be as appreciated as as in the loving home he has grown up in. He is cat friendly, very playful and enjoys being an outside boy, especially having a dip in the swimming pool. \ He keeps an eye on his owner inside by dragging his bed around the yard and placing it outside big windows so that he can see her inside. He loves his daily walks, particularly if they involve a trip to the beach. He’s a solid boy at 19kg, head above knee height and probably still has some growing to do. His family are reluctantly surrendering him due to changed circumstances.
Bert is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is toilet trained and comes to his name, sits, stays for several minutes and shakes hands. He only barks if someone unfamiliar comes to the house. His owner says she is still working on his habit of jumping up with the excitement of visitors. Because of his size and this habit, if adopted by a family, he’d be better with older children who can be consistent with his training.
