Chewy

Hi, my name is Chewy and I am a lovely boy with a calm nature who has ended up homeless through no fault of my own. The nice family who are temporarily looking after me are unable to care for me on a permanent basis although they wish they could. I am very grateful to them for looking out for me in my time of need and show my appreciation. They take me on daily walks to the beach which I love. I am rarely left alone, housetrained and sleep in the daughters bedroom. During the day I roam inside and out depending on what is going on.

There are two cats here. One I like, the other one and I have a mutual dislike thing going on. There is also an elderly dog and I am submissive to him and we get on fine but in my young life I have not been socialized much with other dogs so this needs to be addressed. I am friendly with little ones or those of a similar size but a bit nervous of large dogs.

I would love to go to obedience classes so I can get used to lots of other dogs and learn that they don't really mean me harm. So I would maybe suit a family home with older children to cuddle up to, or a tradie I can go to work with, or someone like a mum or retired person who is home for most of the day and can give me all the love and companionship I am after.
